Good for you Mitch I wish I could make it for your launch. Will be a proud moment I am sure. Let me know when the next one is planned.
Will depart on our trip out east july 3 and return nearly 2 months later. Object is to meet up with my son and, new family in Toronto and camp somewhere in the wilds of western Ontario. Will be travelling in our 8 cylinder Prairie Schooner. Intend to stop over in Winnipeg for awhile and the Whiteshell as well. Hope to run into you – off the road of course
Looking for another boat and planning more overnight trips on the water. It is an incurable disease.. which I am prolonging.
Best of luck on your book and presentation? Look forward to the read..
Al! Drop in. You are welcome to overnight here on your trek. We even have a canoe! I hope (maybe) to have an event in VIC! Lots of fam & friends there. Will advise if something pans out. mjt
UPDATE September 8: As stated above, Ariel Gordon and I will be hosted by CMU Prof and author-poet Sue Sorensen on Nov 8 at McNally Robinson Booksellers where we will launch our books!
MORE DATES: Ariel and I will also be in Lac du Bonnet, MB Nov 9 along with three talented musical guests at the historic St. John’s Heritage Church & Arts Centre. Note that I’ll also be reading other work (not from the collection) this coming Wednesday, Sept 13 at the church as part of the season-opening performance of The Listening Room’s Open Mic program.
I’ll be appearing at two launch events in Steinbach: At the Mennonite Heritage Village main auditorium on Nov 15 with two other local authors (TBA) and solo at The Public Brewhouse & Gallery on Nov 18 with my very special Steinbach co-hosts, Dave Driedger and John Neufeld and emcee, renowned satirist-author Andrew Unger of Daily Bonnet/Unger Review fame.

On my Calendar! See you then.

Best with book watch. Our elderly cat is in poor health so we must stay close to home to minister thereto.
